Route 6 (the black bus) currently serves Crescent Hall, Friendship Court, 6th ST and public housing, S. 1st ST public housing and Prospect AV. It is interesting the plans are for it to serve Foodlion and CVS at Willoughby Shopping but not the area's largest employer, UVA. Those residents will have to transfer to another Route to get to the hospital. ***The stop is currently served by Route 6, which currently travels between the University of Virginia Health System, Downtown Mall, and Willoughby Shopping center. There are plans to change the route to eliminate the UVA connection, but implementation of those changes are delayed due to a lack of drivers***
