This newsletter went out with a slightly incorrect headline. You might quibble that 13.4 and 13.46 are more or less the same thing, but that extra six might prompt some to round up to 13.5. But those fractions mean real dollars. Either way, as the story says, every property is different and these numbers are averages anyway.

The other thing I got wrong was using a word that was the exact opposite of what I meant. You can see that in the body of the text where I corrected it. This is a tendency I have. A common thread in my mistakes is to somehow write the wrong thing and not see it until someone points it out. When I hire an editor, I will make sure they know this.

What else? I do want to make sure I disclaim my mistakes and correct them.
