Sean, The scooter issue. I’m not sure how it is done in other countries, (we were fortunate to be able to travel to France this fall) but I do not see scooters and bikes all over the place. On second thought, what I believe happens is that there are MANY bases for these units and they must be returned there. So for example, I live in Belmont and if I rent a scooter to come home from say UVA or downtown, I would not just be able to leave it on the sidewalk across the street from me, but would have to go to the (hopefully) one of three in the Belmont area.
